Tamiya introduces the newest member to the CR01
rock crawling family, the
Jeep Wrangler. This 1:10 R/C
Jeep Wrangler is mounted on the impressive CR01 chassis
and the injection-molded plastic body shell precisely
captures its famous form.
It comes semi-assembled
making it perfect for those who would like to assemble
their machine, but who do not have the time to do a
complete build. The beadlock tires, planetary gears,
and universal shafts are all pre-assembled, so it
greatly reduces the number of hours required for
assembly allowing you to hit the rocks in less time.
The Jeep Wrangler joins two
other perennial off-roading favorites in the
CR01 lineup: the
Land Cruiser 40 and the
Mercedes
Unimog 406.

Mini-Z F1 Transmitter-Less Kits |
Kyosho has released the
Michael Schumacher and
Lewis
Hamilton versions of the F1 in kits without
transmitters. This release is the "SP Limited
Edition" which has a few other goodies not previously
found in the F1 kits:
- Full ball bearings
- Aluminum motor mount
- High grip tires
The
graphics are fully licensed and details are perfect down to the
graphics on the drivers helmet.

Frank's Tank: Atomic Mini-Z AWD/MR-02 Pan Car VDS III |
The
Pan Car class has been very popular for the last few
years in Mini-Z racing, but was only available in a 98mm wheelbase.
Atomic has released the long-awaited 94mm
VDS v2.5 pan
car body that fits the MA-010 and MR02 chassis.

The
VDS III is accompanied by wheels specifically
for the AWD. For MR02 wheels, you will want to
run +1 offset in the front, and +2 in the rear.
Also
included is an extension that pushes rear wing 5mm
behind the chassis to give it aggressive styling and
increased down force.
The body is very nimble with
its aggressive, high-downforce characteristics and shorter
wheelbase, and is an ideal body for any class of
racing.

New XMOD Wheel and Driveshaft Options |
|
We have picked up some more
aluminum wheels for the XMOD.
There are 5, 6, and 10-spoke "ridged" options, which means they
work with the stock XMOD tires. Think those stock XMOD
tires are worthless? You're right. So we have some
treaded aftermarket tires also.

We've
always had the carbon fiber "Perfect Shafts," and now we have
other choices like
alloy and
titanium. Both are
significantly lighter than the stock driveshaft, shaving weight
from the rotational mass that the motor fights to get the car
moving.
