Tutorial - Mini-Z F1 Antenna Relocation

Occasionally the F-1 will experience glitches when racing indoors. This is most commonly caused by interference from an RFID lap counting system such as the Core. While you cannot always eliminate the problem completely, moving the antenna away from the metallic center bar will help considerably in most cases.

In the case of the Mini-Z Formula 1, the antenna is attached to a metallic bridge that goes over the board. This may not cause interference to many cars, but everyone knows that metal conducts the signal and therefore this set-up may cause the tuning on the electronics to be off and then glitch.  Read More...

Ball bearings are one of the best upgrades you can do to your cars.

These little miracle devices come in different types, sizes, materials, with different seals and many other variations. The one thing they do have in common is that they all require some maintenance. We've written a short tutorial on the process of cleaning and re-lubing your bearings. Read More...

Micro-T Li-Po Battery Packs

When it come to having fun in small places, the Micro-T and the newly released Micro-Baja are a great alternative to larger scales, but when it comes to putting some ponies under that little beast you have got to get Team Losi’s Factory Li-Po Battery.

It is a 2-cell 180 mAh battery that produces a massive 7.4 volts compared to the 6 volts that comes stock. This Li-Po must know Jenny Craig because it weights 6 grams lighter than the factory battery! With the increased performance, longer runtime and added speeds you get from this power plant you are sure to have a blast smoking the competition.

When using Li-po batteries make sure you use the proper charging equipment. We recommend using the Team Losi Micro Li-Po charger or any other charger that charges 2 cell Li-Po batteries.  See More...

2007 PN Racing Mini-Z World Cup U.S. Southern Regional

AtomicMods.com will have the great honor of hosting the U.S. Southern Regional of the very popular PN Racing Mini-Z World Cup. The PN Racing World Cup is the most prestigious organized Mini-Z event in the world today and is also the measure by which most drivers compare to each other on a global scale.

Three different titles will be up for grabs to anyone who chooses to enter this event on the weekend of August 4th and 5th, at AtomicMods.com very own test track. The 3 categories to be run will be Stock Mini-Z, Modified Mini-Z and Open Formula 1. In stock and modified Mini-Z, both 2WD and AWD models will be allowed. In addition, each entrant to a category will receive a "hand-out motor" which will keep things even as everyone will run the same brand and motor type in their cars.  Read More...

 John's Rectangle

It has been awhile since new XMOD goodies have hit the market, so we added the new XMOD Evo Transformers Starter Kits to the site.

With or without the new movie, these new XMOD bodies are very cool.  I really dig the Camaro Concept.

Have you seen the new Mini-Z "Test Cars"?  Ohhhh Snap!

New Atomic 21.5mm T.S. Rims for Mini-Z MR-02

   Hey! Who's this joker?
Wow! The first thing that came to mind when I saw the new Atomic 21.5 T.S Rims is "Hello Mr. Bling-Bling!" These new wheels are top notch and look fantastic. They are a split five star design and come in three finishes, white, black and chrome.

These wheels may not fit under all bodies but for those that do it sure looks cool.  When compared next to the stock factory wheels, these dubs make stock look like donuts! You need to ask yourself one question...do you really want your Mini-Z in the next 50 cent video?
