New AtomicBuilt:  The Mini-Z MR-02 Alpha

Just as the name suggests, this new AtomicBuilt is designed to be an entry-level car in what is usually the "Stock" class at most Mini-Z races.

The parts included are what we consider the most important in order to be competitive in the stock class at local, national, or even world class events.  Read More...

Cristian's Corner:  Rebuilding Your 1:18 Motor

Electrical motors get worn out over time. If you don't service them, the performance drops severely, which eventually leads to motor failure.

I wrote a tutorial showing you how to properly rebuild an electric motor. The process is the same whether the motor is 130 size (like a Mini-Z) all the way to a 540 size (like 1:10 scale cars).  For the tutorial, we used a 280 size, 1:18 scale motor. Our lathe of choice is the Integy Xipp Perfect Lathe 2, since it allows us to cut motors from 130 all the way to 550 size.

If you follow the tutorial, you should have all your old motors running like new!  Read More...

ExoTek Tek18 Chassis for RC18

The TEK18 is ExoTek Racing's chassis conversion for the Associated RC18.   It fits any of the RC18 kits except for the MT.   With carbon fiber and T6-grade aluminum throughout, it is perhaps the most complete chassis conversion on the market for any 1:18 scale vehicle.  Read More...

The Duratrax Vendetta:  First Impressions

The Duratrax Vendetta and Vendetta ST are newcomers to our already-extensive product mix in 1:18 scale.  The first thing we noticed about the Ready-to-Run was the unequaled value.  It comes with EVERYTHING!  No other 1:18 scale RTR gives you this much fun out of the box.

In typical AtomicMods style, Cristian took his Vendetta to the track to gather some first impressions.  Read more...

Setting up the Associated RC18R

Team Associated's RC18 series of vehicles is might be one of the most (if not THE most) versatile Radio Controlled Car Platforms out there.

It started life as a Stadium truck, then underwent a couple of minor changes so it could be run as a buggy and later on a Monster Truck.

The latest addition to the line up is the RC18R.  Read More...

 John's Rectangle

It's time to load up on stocking stuffers!  And what makes better stocking stuffers than Micro RC parts?  Don't answer that...it was a rhetorical question.

The new brushless system for the Losi Micro-T is here!  One word, ballistic.

We have added aftermarket hop-ups for the 1:18 Vendetta.  There is more to come!

For more new stuff, be sure to check out the cleverly named page New Stuff.

Find a Local Racing Club

We just love to race, and we know you do too. We also know how tough it can be to find other racing enthusiasts, so we created this page to give you a way to connect with other racers in your local area.

You can also submit your local racing club to help other racers find you.
