Post September 2008, the XMOD Evolution Series Starter Kits are manufactured with a fixed crystal. Why the manufacturer would take a step backwards is beyond us, but we have devised a fix.
When you purchase this labor service, we will remove the fixed crystal and add an adapter so you can switch out crystals.
There is one hitch. Not only is the Rx crystal fixed, but the Tx crystal is also. So you will need the older version of the
XMOD transmitter that has a spot for an interchangeable crystal.
