Double your top speed and shave 7 grams of ugly factory battery fat with this High Discharge 10C Poly Pro Pack for the XMOD Evolution. This pack sits in place of the Stock Battery Tray and mounts perfectly flush with the bottom of the car. This is a 2S2P pack (2 cells in series and 2 cells in parallel).

This is the new 10C version that is capable of 10 amps of continous current.

  • Includes:Battery pack with four 500 mAh 7.4v Lithium Polymer cells wired in a 2S2P configuration with internal PC wiring boards installed and soldered for wiring integrity. Battery harness is made with SuperFlex 18 wire with Micro Plug pre-soldered. Batteries are covered in heat shrink for protection. Super Stick tape is applied for securing the cells to the car. The MainBoard harness is also made with SuperFlex 18 wire with Micro Plug pre-soldered and the free ends are pre-tinned to ease installation.

  • Application Notes:This is a simple installation and anyone with rudimentary soldering skills should be able to handle it.

    The average current draw on an XMOD with stacked FETs and a hot motor is around 1 amp, which will yield a 60 minute run time with this pack. Running longer generates more heat and is especially hard on motors so keep an eye on the motor temperature when running beyond 15 minutes to prevent toastification. The GPM XMOD Evo Car Billet Aluminum Rear Driveline Case will help considerably with heat dissipation. Also, a bind free car will run much cooler, so running ceramic bearings will make a dramatic difference, but open bearings are the next best thing.

Using the Tamiya Speed Checker we tested a stock XMOD EVO with Radio Shack Ni-Mh cells and the 12-13 gear combination and got 15.5 MPH, with the same setup and the Poly Pro Pack we got 26 MPH!
