The Mini Peak is an inexpensive AC quick charger with peak detection safety for Ni-Cad and Ni-Mh battery packs. The LOSB1206 Mini Peak AC Quick Charger plugs into any common 110v wall outlet and will quick charge any 5 or 6 cell battery pack in under an hour. After your pack has been safely charged with the peak detection circuitry, the Mini Peak switches to a safe trickle charge. The trickle charge allows the charged cells to equalize and provide the maximum performance. So, if you hate the waiting and uncertainty of quick charging the Mini Peak AC Quick Charger is for you.
  • Team AtomicMods Comments:I was surprised to see a peak detection charger for this price as it is typicall only found on higher end chargers. Peak detection means that the charger looks for slight voltage decrease that happens when a Mi-MH or NiCD battery is fully charged. It then switches to trickle so you don't have to worry about overcharging. Peak detection also yeilds the best battery performance. - Rob

very nice, a lot better than the stock losi charger. charged up my mini lst in under an hour (compared to 5 or 6 with the normal)
