I haven't had any problems with the battery. But I definitely think this batt is more for brushless systems. Here's my story (please read): I couldn't run this in my stock micro t. The High-Voltage cutoff in the receiver/ECS doesn't accept this battery, and once you hit full throttle, the car's built in High-Voltage cutoff is activated and turns off your ECS, thus leaving you with no throttle control. The only way to get it to work again is to turn the car off and on again. But the car still cuts out again, and again, and again, and again. Here's something else: I bought an another reciever/ECS($40), another motor($8.00), and maybe a transmition set. NONE of these worked. Then I even called up Horizon Hobby and told them about my problems. They really didn't know what the problem was either i'm guessing, because they sent me a new LiPo pack free. AND EVEN THAT ONE DIDN'T WORK!!!
Maybe you just have to set the slipper to a high-slip setup. I have seen people run these with LiPo's in them and maybe that's what they're doing. So, you could try that. But i wanted to let all the people who are looking at this battery know about this, because i don't want people getting bummed out like I did when i spent my $44.99 (not from AtomicMods) on this battery.
