This charger will charge AAA or AA Ni-MH batteries. It has an LCD readout that shows individual cell status. The charger also has a special refresh function that discharges the cells before charging them. It also comes with 4 AA Sony rechargeable cells. It has several safety features to make charging safe. It monitors cell temperature so it can automatically shut off if they get too hot. Voltage is also closely monitored on a cell by cell basis. It detects if you attempt to charge an alkaline cell, and will refuse to charge it.

  • Application Notes:You can charge any combination of AA and AAA Ni-MH cells at the same time and the readout will display individual status. 4) AA will be charged at 640mA and will charge in 270 minutes, 4) AAA cells will be charged at a lower 320mA rate and will take 140 minutes.
