We start with a stock F1, which is a great car to begin with, but with some choice upgrades can be transformed into a world class platform. Any F1 ReadySet will do, just choose your favorite livery.

Bearings

Mini-Z Car Ceramic Bearing Set

This car has a lot of rotating parts. And even though the bushings are smooth, they wear out quickly and provide for unnecessary drag. We like running our own Ceramic Bearing Set, they are the smoothest and have the least rolling resistance of any bearings on the market. Bearings will increase your run time, give you a higher top speed and allow for your motor to remain cooler throughout the run.

A good set of high quality tires is very important to go fast. The best tires we have found to work on the Mini-Z F1 are the 20 Degree Kyosho rears and 30 Degree Kyosho fronts. These tires offer maximum grip under hard acceleration and cornering and allow the car to feel "glued" to the track.

Atomic 1 Degree Aluminum Knuckles

1.0 degree for the front end of the car. These beautifully crafted knuckles are a must for racing. The Delrin sleeves over the kingpin allow for smooth suspension action and the degree of camber has been picked to allow for maximum tire contact and long lasting tire wear.

The DPS (Damper Plate System) is the Ultimate Formula 1 hop-up for the suspension
and is really a requirement to tame the rear end and get the car to hook
up well. With the additional stability provided by the Atomic F1 DPS, the car can handle much more power and corner at much higher speeds without loosing rear end grip.

If you want consistent suspension action, carbon fiber is the way to go. These plates allow the rear suspension to return effectively to their "center" point allowing for the car to turn consistently the same left to right.

This is as big of a stack as will fit on the F1. With cup competition having open electronics, we maximize the speed handling capabilities of the car by adding 2 stacks of 4562 FETs to the PCB.

This is a racing machine, so it needs to be assembled like one. With this blueprinting service we make sure that all parts are working smoothly, as well as do the additional "tricks" to maximize the performance of your car. Amongst these tricks is the
ultimate diff
mod, the
disk damper body trimming, polishing of the front kingpins,
antenna relocation mod as well as trimming of the shock mounting bridge to fit the 2x2 FET stack.
