The Kyosho X-Speed is a great motor that does not require FETs in order to use it. It has brass bushings, standard magnets and comes with wires attached as pictured.

  • Team AtomicMods Comments:This motor is a very popular one and runs great on standard batteries, but those of you called by a higher power (Lithium) should avoid this one as the closed case tends to run hot. It was very stable during my 6 volt RPM testing, but kept slowing down at the 8.4 (Lithium) voltage levels as it overheated. - Rob

I love my new motor it is better than the stupid @$$ motor I used to have. I beat 3 of my friends' cars with this. It's the best motor you can get that doesn't require a FET upgrade.

this is my first upgrade from the stage two ..if it only gets faster from here ..then i cant imagine how fast a z2 or t2 will feel..bad a_ _ motor !

Its brilliant, the main reason i like it is because its compatable with a stock mini-z and it goes as fast as a hopped up one. For me its got just enough power but not too much, enough to be powerful but not so powerful that its un-driveable
