This set includes the Front Sink and Rear Mount for your motor. This motor mount system is not only sexy but functional as well. The bright silver finish is quite beautiful, and if you happen to scratch or ding it, its the same color throughout.

It is machined from aluminum alloy which allows it to transfer heat away from the motor more efficiently than other materials.

It is also very light, weighing in at only 2.99 Grams. For comparison the Radio Shack cast motor heat sink that comes with the Stage 2 Motors Set weighs in at a whopping 11.86 Grams.

  • Application Notes:The screw holes on the motor heat sink are too small for the factory screws. In order to make it fit properly you must ream the holes slightly. We use a 5/64th inch bit. Since there are no screw threads on the heat sink, you don't have to worry about re-taping the screw.

Weight savings are massive..this means faster take offs and top speed, great product highly recommend...way better then stock!

Let's see.Hmmmmm. About one quarter of the weight of the factory metal piece and better heat transfer. I guess that translates into faster speed off the line, less heat , therefore longer battery charge life as well as a cooler running motor. Once again, another outstanding product available from Atomic-Mods. 'Nuff said.
