This part, along with the Rear gear, and the perfect shaft and the two bezel gears, fix a major flaw in the original Evo truck design. There was a lot of slop and sometimes the gears would even slip with the stock parts, these eliminate all of that. Smoother running means faster speed and better response to power input! Great stuff!

If you are planning to make your truck four wheel drive, buy this, composite center shaft gears, carbon fiber shaft to fit, rear third unit, captured awd shafts, and some hd ball diffs, and do not even attempt to install the Radio Shack kit, the headaches are not worth it.

These are great parts but if you put lithium in them then you need to get all of the composite and delrin gears because you will break the stock gears with the awsome power of lithium. Muhahahahahaha!
