This intelligent charger will safely charge and discharge, Ni-Cd, and Ni-MH, Lead Acid and Gel Cell batteries as well as Lithium Ion and Lithium Polymer. Like most high quality chargers it has banana jacks on the charge output so you can use any sort of cable you like. The 2x18 digital display conveys the charging and discharging status as well as setup information, and the 4 menu buttons give you a simple control interface. The included temperature probe can be used to automatically shut down the charging in the event of an overheated pack to increase the safety when charging Lithium batteries. You can also store the charging profile for your 10 most used packs for convenience. The charger even has reverse polarity detection on the power supply input and battery charging output to protect the charger and battery pack from these common mistakes.
There is a USB interface for connecting to your PC with the optional Bantam EAC100 PC Interface Kit. The software allows you can graph the battery voltage, battery temperature, charge amperage, and milli amps delivered during the cycle as well as battery pack temperature with the included temperature probe. The software also allows you to save the graphs and compare them to other packs.
