Associated RC18B 1/18 AWD Buggy RTR Kit

AtomicMods Product ID: 12843
The RC18B is a buggy based on the RC18T.
  • Features:
    • Impressive 4WD Powertrain
An inline Super 370 motor bolted to an aluminum motor mount powers the 18B. The specially designed mount accommodates most aftermarket motors too. Power is delivered to the wheels via an efficient shaft drive connected to adjustable front and rear ball bearing differentials.
    • Oil-Filled Shock Suspension
Drivers can get rough with the little 18B thanks to its robust off-road suspension. The oil-filled shocks absorb the bumps and provide excellent handling at higher speeds. The four lower arms are symmetrical and work with the molded upper suspension links to give the 18B optimized suspension geometry right out of the box.
    • XP Series Electronics
The modular nature of the XP electronics make it easy for
racers to get to the receiver, steering servo and speed control.

open a can off whoop a** i have seen these little buggers at a hobby shop must be doing 20+ stock

I bought one of these after looking them up for a while, AND HOLY CRAP! THIS THING IS FAST! Let me tell you, if you've never seen one of these run before, you are missing out. It's not just the speed, the acceleration is INSANE. $170 is a lot of money, especially to a kid, but this thing is worth every penny. The radio that comes with it is pretty nice, too.

Good buggy, fast out of the box and pretty durable. My buddy bought an RC-18T and I have the RC-18B, and we have beat the crap out of them for a week now on dirt, asphalt and cement. The RC-18T has only broken the front bumper, but he did get the Team Associated aluminum suspension and arms upgrade and the aluminum steering kit. My RC-18B started all stock has popped a strut (which I replaced with the nice Integy set), cracked the front shock tower (my buggy spends its spare time time sliding upside down) which I will replace with the ATOMICMODS aluminum RC-18T front mount (the truck body mounts will help protect my shock bodies when the buggy is skidding across the ground), and most recently cracked the servo-saver clip by catching a wheel on a fence (if you have one of these trucks, I recommend reinforcing the servo saver clip with a piece of shock-spring as I think it is a point of weakness on the truck...evidenced by every on-line hobby shop I found being out of servo savers). Hope you can learn from what we broke to show you what upgrades you should buy first.
