AAA Lithium Ion Battery with Button Top - 320mAh

These replace our old "Flat Top" AAA Lithium cells. These new cells have raised tops making them easier to use in the factory AAA battery holders used in most 1:28th scale cars.
  • Includes:1) Individual Cell
  • Application Notes:These are much easier to install than our previous "Flat Top" cells because of the protruding buttons, but the buttons are wider than regular batteries, so most battery holders will require minor trimming, but nothing as drastic as the old "Flat Tops". Also you must keep the final voltage below 8.4 volts so wire these in a 2S2P configuration (see the Battery Q&A for details). When you wire them this way you end up with a 640 mAh pack which will run way past your attention span.

    Charging
    You can charge these with any 7.4V Lithium charger, but you must wire the charging tray in a 2S2P configuration in order to charge them this way. Consult the FlatRack AAA Charging Tray 2S2P Wiring tutorial for details. A better way is to use one of our computerized chargers capable of charging at 4S and an Atomic Ultra AAA Battery Charging Rack.

  • Team AtomicMods Comments:These batteries open up some real possibilities. I just converted my Mini-Z AWD. After the conversion my AWD runs much longer than NiMH cells and of course a lot faster because of the higher voltage. I can't wait to do the same with my Mini-Z F1. I would only use these on cars that have no other option like the Mini-Z AWD or F-1. You could use these on an Evo as a cheaper solution, but the Li-Poly cells are much stronger as they are 10C and can deliver a tremendous amount of current. - Rob

These just arrived today, and WOW these are so SICK!!! it took about 45 min per car to install and they made an amazing improvement. My cars went from 17km/h to an amazing 35km/h... this was all done with the help of the Tamiya AWD Speed Checker.

Finally, button tops! You guys are the only ones to have these. The flat top ones suck.

i have been looking for these forever! now i can keep up wit my competition.
