If you use a Billet or Carbon Fiber Rear Upper Deck, or a SwitchBlade Chassis you must isolate the antenna from the chassis. This tutorial will step you through the process of doing it.

You can buy a bag of this 1\8" tubing at most hobby shops for about $5 or we sell the XMOD Gen1 Antenna Support Kit which includes the required parts.

Drill out existing antenna tab hole on Rear Deck with a 5/64" diameter drill bit.

Attach white plastic tubing to Rear Deck using rounded head screw.

Put the rear upper deck back on the car. Using a flat head screwdriver attach the antenna lead as shown. That's it, you're done. Your range should be restored to factory levels after this mod.
